Anishinaabe Abinoojii Family Services is currently looking for a mature couple to provide a secure, stable and nurturing environment for youth ages 12-17.
You will be provided with the following:
- Furnished accommodations
- Grocery Allowance
- Tax free per diem
- personal hygiene items for the youth
- cable, heat and utilities
- Training
- Allowances for the youth’s expenses
- Regular Respite
Duties and Responsibilities

Alternative Care department
Qualifications
- are good role models
- one person must be willing to be a stay at home parent, to provide continuity of care
- have experience working with high risk youth
- have a valid Ontario G license or willing to obtain one
- have access to a reliable vehicle
- have the ability to communicate with the youth in a positive manner
- are sensitive to cultural and spiritual needs of the youth
- are willing to work as part of a Team
